Leicester Beer Festival has a new home for 2018!
Leicester’s annual Beer Festival is gearing up for it’s biggest year yet, as it moves to a new venue in the heart of Leicester city centre. From 7 - 10th March 2018, the festival will be held at the newly refurbished Haymarket Theatre.
Organisers CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) believe the improved facilities and extra space will add a fresher festival feel to the event, which has continued to grow in popularity each year.
On sale will be a huge range of beers from local & national microbreweries, including golden ales, IPAs, stouts, and bitters plus many more. For those who want or need something different, there will be a range of gluten free and vegan beers, along with a selection of ciders & continental bottled beers. And make sure you pay a visit to The Travelling Juniper Berries gin & prosecco bar!
This year’s theme is ‘The Theatre’ to celebrate the new Haymarket, and festival glasses will feature a commemorative logo, which will be available in half pint tankards and goblets, and pint straight glasses, at a cost of £3.00 each.
If you’re worried about drinking on an empty stomach, there will be a great selection of food at the festival, too – including curry and local pork pies. What more could you ask for?!
