Mocha Marketing joins forces with Soft Touch Arts and Smith Partnership to bring back popular networking event

Enderby-based marketing agency Mocha Marketing is collaborating with Leicester charity Soft Touch Arts and solicitor firm Smith Partnership to bring back ‘New Walk Network’; a free, informal business networking event held at Soft Touch Arts, on New Walk.

The event will take place every other month, beginning with October and aims to provide an array of guest speakers at a relaxed and informal networking opportunity whilst forming new connections within the Leicester business community.

Having long been a supporter of Soft Touch Arts, Mocha Marketing are keen to ensure that each New Walk Network is an event not to be missed. The team also recently used their event marketing and PR expertise to host a memorable fund-raising curry night for cancer research charity Hope Against Cancer that exceeded all expectations, and are aiming for similar success again.

Alex Stone, Client Services Director at Mocha Marketing, said, “There’s such a close business community here in Leicester and bringing them together in support of such an amazing charity, Soft Touch Arts, was something we were completely committed to do. We’ve worked with Soft Touch Arts on a number of projects in the past and always enjoy seeing how successful they are, so we’re hopeful that the business community will turn out in force for New Walk Network.

New Walk Network, as its name suggests, will take place at Soft Touch Arts’ offices in the picturesque New Walk area of Leicester. Each event will feature a guest speaker, starting with Christina Wigmore, Soft Touch Arts’ Business Development Director, and Carrie Carruthers, the Development Manager at fellow Leicester charity Spark Arts.

Each event will feature an exciting business card raffle draw, with the prize being donated by the guest speaker. October’s prize will be a delicious lunch for two provided by Soft Touch Arts at the charity’s pop-up café.

Though the event is free to register, attendees are encouraged to donate £3 to help Soft Touch Arts cover the costs of refreshments. Attendees can book their free tickets on Eventbrite:

Co-organisers The Smith Partnership will also be at the event. The firm has two offices within Leicester city centre and its expert team of solicitors specialise in Commercial Law, Private Client and Criminal Law. The firm also has offices in other areas of the Midlands, including Derby and Stoke-on-Trent.

The first New Walk Network will take place on 18 October from 8:30am - 10am. Book early to avoid disappointment.
