Have you heard about The Gadabout?

Situated in a 17th century listed building (formerly known as ‘Taps’), in the heart of Cathedral Quarter in Leicester city centre, The Gadabout is a unique and welcoming bar. Their name ‘gadabout’ is a noun meaning ‘habitual pleasure-seeker’, a mission at the centre of the bar’s ethos. The team believe in seeking pleasure in all walks of life, and aim to make that a reality when you visit for a drink - or four!

The Gadabout’s logo is a pineapple, which is actually the international symbol for hospitality, and you can expect to be greeted with warmth, friendship and hospitality when you visit.

With a cocktail menu inspired by the world, you’ll find ingredients and stories from across the globe that have helped to create drinks inspired by Argentina, Polynesia & Iceland to name just a few. The Gadabout is primarily a cocktail bar but also offer a wide range of premium spirits, beers and wines.

The bar intends to play with people’s perceptions of cocktails and even have a draft cocktail on the menu. The Monkey Shoulder Mojito is prepared daily on site and then put into a keg - pint anyone?!

In addition, they also have a retail arm to the bar where consumers can purchase a wide array of beer, wines and spirits as well as cigars.

So what are you waiting for? Get out and visit The Gadabout!
